The beautifully appointed Lobby of the Hotel Syracuse is reached by climbing a wide marble stairway with brass railings. For those unable to use the stairs, there is an elevator located behind the stairs. Two-story octagonal columns are scattered throughout the Lobby. Elaborate chandeliers are suspended from central medallion in the coffered ceilings. A beautiful vintage 1920’s-style bar spans the back wall. The two-story arched windows provide natural light. The floor is patterned marble with an edging of terrazzo tiles. This historically majestic space is the perfect welcome upon entering this Hotel.
